Συντομη Περιγραφή

Old Perithia, built at an altitude of about 450 meters on the slopes of Mount Pantocrator, is a picturesque village in northern Corfu. This is one of the oldest villages in Corfu that its position was selected to avoid pirates and the malaria epidemic that tormented the coast.
The estimated 130 stone houses are an excellent example of architecture as well as the eight churches surrounding the village with that of St. James the Persian dominating the village entrance.
The village is now a tourist attraction since the majority of its residents moved to the coast.
