The unique area of the Korission lagoon hosts many different ecosystems most important of which are the lake, the cedar forest, the dunes and the sea. The feast of this biodiversity, protected by the network Natura 2000, attracts thousands of visitors every year since both the flora and fauna of the area and the beautiful beaches of Halikounas and Issos create a magical landscape. The path on the strip of land separates the calm turquoise waters of the lake from the deep blue of the Ionian Sea, leaving the visitor with a unique impression.
