Brief Description

This is a post-Byzantine Museum of Religious Art housed in the church of Panagia Antivouniotissa, which was built in the late 15th century and exemplifies the Royal Ionian type. It is the only case of a church and museum co- existing in Greece and the collection includes important works from the second half of the 15th to the 20th century.
Exceptional are the images of Saints Sergius, Bacchus and Justina Michael Damaskinos, the Three Archangels and various Saints.
