Brief Description

On the top of the Piso Aetos hill, the remains of the citadel of the ancient city of Alalkomenes, dated in the post-homerian period have been discovered. Large pieces of rocks form the walls, and thus being characterized as Cyclopean Walls.

Several remains indicate that this was an important ancient city extending in a wide area. Several findings are now kept in mouseum of Vathy.
