Brief Description
On the top of the Piso Aetos hill, the remains of the citadel of the ancient city of Alalkomenes, dated in the post-homerian period have been discovered. Large pieces of rocks form the walls, and thus being characterized as Cyclopean Walls.
Several remains indicate that this was an important ancient city extending in a wide area. Several findings are now kept in mouseum of Vathy.

It is recommended to navigate up and down the entire area. The best to get from navigation is the view as climbing up and down the particular slope that the remains of the city of Alalkomenes have been discovered.
